Rihlawi means "of the journey" in Arabic. It is not just a name — it is the reason this company exists.
I am a rider. I have been one for most of my adult life. There is something that happens between motorcyclists that does not happen anywhere else — a nod at a traffic light, a conversation at a fuel stop, a shared moment on an empty road in the middle of nowhere. Riders understand each other without needing to explain much. That is the culture Rihlawi is built on.
I was born in Agadir and have spent much of my life between Morocco and the Netherlands. I started renting motorcycles in the Netherlands years ago, driven by the same passion. But a full-time job meant I could not give customers the attention they deserved, and I refused to run a rental business at half effort. So I stopped.
Morocco changed that. Agadir is my origin, my home ground. I know these roads. I know where the tarmac ends and the adventure begins. I know which mountain pass will take your breath away and which coastal road you will want to ride twice. That knowledge — combined with two motorcycles I would ride myself — became Rihlawi.
This is not a faceless rental agency. When you pick up your bike, you are talking to someone who has ridden the same roads you are about to discover. Ask questions. We ride ourselves — we love talking about it.
